This website is an extension of a Hawaii golf guide known as Maui
Golf. Maui Golf is part of a company called Maui Golf Review, LLC, a
corporation formed by a group of local Maui investors in 2009, after
the original sole proprietorship, founded by John Byrne in 1995, was
dissolved in the wake of the economic crisis.

Maui Golf is both a print and online resource. It is ever-evolving and
borrows much of its content from back issues of the original Maui Golf
Review.

Printed locally on Oahu by Hagadone Printing Co., Maui Golf is
Hawaii’s only full-size golf periodical guide. Its staff has received
numerous prestigious awards such as the Hawaii Publishers
Association’s Pai Award, and American Advertising Federation’s Pele
Award. Maui Golf is also the only golf periodical in Hawaii recognized
and supported by the Aloha Section of the PGA of America.

Articles and editorial written and published on this website, and
inside the printed version of Maui Golf, are contributed by many
sources, including the original company’s founder, John Byrne, who is
a regular blogger on this site as well.
