Da Game Show is the official video component of the Maui Golf Review magazine. For the past three years Kapalua resident and Maui XXX commissioner Dave Ward has hosted the show, which is filmed all over Hawaii. Da Game is about the courses we play and also about competition: with Dave pitting himself against the state’s best pros, personalities, and junior golfers. With a good mix of interviews and showmanship, Da Game is evolving nicely as we enter 2014 and its 16th episode was completed on Christmas eve for the New Year.

The show was heavily filmed back in 2010 and 2011. Much of the footage laid dormant as I just didn’t have the time or ability to edit it all. But in 2012 we picked up where we had left off and in 2013 the show started airing regularly. The website has had a complete overhaul, every single useable clip has been edited and delivered to the Hawaiian community stations, and the official schedule is now filled all the way through April of 2014.

The Big Island, Maui, and Kauai all use channel 54 for their public access TV. We have series slots on all three networks and are ironing out the kinks to get back on track on Oahu. Please visit dagameshow.com for the latest scheduling, as each channel has their own times.

For those who are on Maui, however, our permanent slot is every Sunday at 2:30 in the afternoon in channel 54. Don’t miss it!
